External Infusion Network Referral & Booking Process

Providers are required to register as a referrer via the Infusion Network online portal prior to submitting a referral.

Registration Steps

  1. The referring provider must:
    • Enter their details into the online portal
    • Select “Submit”
  2. Once verification has been completed by Infusion Network administration, the provider will be granted access to submit referrals online through the portal.

2. Referral Verification Process

Once a referral is submitted:

  1. Infusion Network staff will receive a notification advising that:
    • A new provider has registered, and
    • A referral has been submitted
  2. For all referrals received from new providers, the Infusion Network receptionist must contact the referring clinic directly to confirm that:
    • The practitioner is currently active at the practice, and
    • The referral is legitimate

This verification step is required to minimise the risk of fraudulent referrals.

Once the referring practitioner has been validated, the Infusion Network administration team will contact the patient to arrange an appointment.
